Bank transferMollieThe CBR asks questions about driver assistance systems (ADAS), such as cruise control and ABS. Since 1 October 2026 these questions are about desired driving behaviour: how you use and control such systems as a driver. The car course has a chapter of its own for them.
View the car courseSince 7 April 2025 it has been one continuous exam of 50 questions in 30 minutes. You pass with at least 44 correct answers. There are no longer separate scores for hazard perception, knowledge and insight. How many mistakes you may make in each exam is on how many mistakes are allowed.

Yes. You can take one full practice exam for free, without paying and without an account. Afterwards you see your score and the chapters you still need to learn. The lessons, the explanation for every question and more practice exams come with a package.
You can take the car theory exam in Dutch or in English. The other theory exams are in Dutch only. For the car, motorcycle and moped you can also take the exam with an interpreter (tolk). You book the interpreter yourself through an agency the CBR has approved: see English exam and interpreter.
